Out With the Old and in With the New

Reconnecting Families got some help from Marietta High School's Key Club before Thanksgiving with helping them clean out the Clothes Closet. Throughout the year, hundreds and hundreds of articles of clothing are graciously donated to the Reconnecting Families' Clothes Closet. As you can believe, the closet gets packed with items very quickly. Cleaning, organizing, and sorting out this closet can be quite the job to do alone, so Key Club of MHS came to help! Without the help and dedication from Gail, the amazing woman who is in charge of the Clothes Closet, all of this work could not be done.

Key Club is an organization led by high school students that want to make a difference in their community. The club's goal is to teach leadership through serving others. Overall, Key Club focuses on bettering their community and helping others in need. The members of Marietta High School's Key Club had a wonderful time assisting in the transformation of the Clothes Closet!

An awesome kick-off to the Holidays!

It's safe to say Reconnecting Families' 2011 Shop for a Cause Event officially got everyone in the Holiday Spirit! The event consisted of friends, food, drinks, and some good shopping--what else could you ask for? This wonderful night could not have been made possible without the awesome vendors that were there with their products. A special thanks goes out to everyone who came out to support this great cause! Happy Holidays to all!
