Juvenile Drug Treatment Court
An adolescent-focused program that includes the entire family. Reconnecting Families assists to improve family dynamics through in-home individual and family therapy; weekly group therapy meetings; and weekly visits by trained staff to ensure accountability. Teens also receive intensive case management, and weekly meetings with the judge and treatment team, who help to decide on rewards and privileges. Teens also receive educational support and employment training. Participants receive services for 12-24 months.

Family Dependency Treatment Court
An adult-focused program for addicted parents that includes services for their children. The parent enrolls in a 24-hour residential treatment program where they may live with their children under therapeutic supervision. The goal is a reunited and sober family. Reconnecting Families enhances educational opportunities, employment training, housing assistance, in-home case management and therapeutic support once the family has returned to the community. Participants receive services for 12-24 months. Program resources are made possible through a partnership with Mothers Making a Change, a nationally-recognized program serving mothers with substance abuse problems in Cobb County.

Strengthening Families
A positive, evidence-based skill training program that supports, enhances and increases family functioning. This is a 14-week, 2.5-hour weekly group that provides transportation, childcare, a meal and family skills for children and their families. Reconnecting Families, Inc. wants to fund and support this valuable program for it participants. Celebrating Families
Celebrating Families is an evidence-based family skills training program for those with an addicted family member. This is a 14 week, 2.5 hour group that provides transportation, childcare, a meal and family skills to help children and their families cope and use new skills. GED PROGRAM
The GED School Program at the Juvenile Court building in Marietta, Georgia, began in 2007. We have partnered with Cobb Adult Education and written community grants to help fund this program. It provides teacher-led classes, two days per week, at the Juvenile Court. We have served students in preparing to take their GED.
