What Would You Do?

What would you do if you were trying to get your life together, but had nothing?  This is the reality so many of our participants face.  For this reason, it is crucial that Reconnecting Families find ways to provide the items needed to help these mothers and juveniles get the hand up that they need to become a sober member of Cobb County.

At this time, and as always, we are seeking the following items:

Cribs- URGENT!

Beds- Mattresses and Frames of all sizes

Dressers- All sizes

Needs List for Mother's

What is a need?

Have you ever been to the mall and picked up a new handbag, or golf shoe, or pair of earrings, and thought to yourself: "I NEED this!"?  In the season of giving and generosity let's all truly consider the difference between a want and a need.  In doing this, reach deep into your hearts, closets and wallets for our Reconnecting Families.  To each mother involved in Drug Court, not being able to afford warm clothes, a bed or food for your child truly is a NEED.

Here is our list of daily needs, let us know if we can make arrangements to pick up any of these donated items!

Needs List:

 New Bath Items- towels, bath sets, bathroom tissue, shampoo, deodorant, wash cloths, shaving items/razors, toothpaste

Kitchen Items- small appliances, dishes, glasses, utensils, cutlery, pans, pots, dish towels, cleaning items, child sipping cups, bibs, bowls, measuring cups, storage containers, pot holders
